How It Works

Simple from first contact
to launch day.

01
Free Call, Then Estimate
Book a 15 to 30 minute call or fill out the form. We talk through what you need, and within a day you get a written estimate. Nothing is due until you agree.
02
You Send the Assets
A headshot or hero photo, a photo of your work or of you doing it, a banner or logo if you have one, and your CV or a short list of what you want the site to do. I handle design, copy, code, and hosting setup.
03
Preview & Revisions
I send a private live preview link. You give feedback, I make the changes — we get it exactly right before anything goes public.
04
Launch
I connect your domain and your site goes live — tested on phones, tablets, and desktops before the switch is flipped. Custom Website and Full Build clients get 30 days of care after launch included.

FAQ

Questions answered
before you ask.

Ownership, timelines, cost, migrations, and what each tier is for, answered plainly.

You do. The files are yours the moment the site launches. I host it for free and keep it running, and if you ever want to move it, to another host, another developer, or your own account, I hand over the complete site and help with the switch. There's no platform lock-in. The only thing you renew is your domain, and that's yours too.
A Starter Site is live in about 48 hours, a Custom Website in about a week, and a Full Build in about two. The clock starts when I have your material. Most delays are waiting on a photo or a bio, not on the build, so if you have a launch date or an event, tell me on the call and we work backward from it.
About $10, for the domain. Hosting is free and there are no platform fees, no plugin renewals, and no annual theme license. If you already own a domain, nothing else is due. Wix and Squarespace plans run roughly $16 to $50 a month depending on the tier.
Yes. Custom Websites and Full Builds come with a built-in editor that works like a simple form: change text, swap a photo, add a book, a post, or an event, and it goes live. I walk you through it in about twenty minutes. Starter Sites don't include the editor, and some clients would rather not touch the site at all, so there are two other options. One-time edits are $25 for a single change and $75 for a batch, usually live within 48 hours. Or a monthly plan: the Edits Plan at $19.99 a month covers one round of changes, and the Care Plan at $49.99 covers three rounds a month with monitoring and priority turnaround.
Both are designed from scratch around your work. A Custom Website ($500 to $1,000) is the right fit for most authors, artists, and ministries: your pages, a press kit, a catalog or store, a migration if you need one, and the editor. A Full Build ($1,000 to $2,500) is for sites with systems inside them, a works catalog with scores and audio, an archive of thousands of posts, event ticketing, donations, pages that update when you publish. On the call I tell you which one you actually need, and it's often the smaller one.
Yes, and most clients arrive this way. Sites on Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, GoDaddy, Weebly, and Blogger can all be moved. The content, the blog or catalog, and the domain come over, old links are redirected so search rankings carry, and there's no downtime. There's no migration surcharge; it's priced as a Custom Website or Full Build depending on size. How a migration works.
Yes. Stores run on Shopify, set up and styled to match the site, so you get real checkout and inventory. Donations connect to whatever platform your parish or nonprofit already uses, or I help you choose one. Archives are migrated by script, not retyped, whether that's 2,300 blog posts or a publisher's full catalog, and they come out searchable. Bookings, newsletters, and ticketing plug in the same way, with tools that do one job well.
Less than you think. A headshot or a few photos, your bio, and the material that matters, book covers and buy links for an author, scores and recordings for a composer, Mass times and program names for a parish. I write or tighten the copy, handle the design, and set up the domain. For Custom Websites and Full Builds we talk first, about thirty minutes, so I understand who visits your site and what you want them to do.

Your work deserves a site
that does it justice.

Most sites land between $500 and $1,000. Starter sites from $200, and larger builds run $1,000 to $2,500. You get an estimate before any work begins, no platform fees beyond your domain, and you own every file. Tell me what you do and I'll tell you what it would take.
