Most of the sites I build land between $500 and $1,000. That covers a real custom site with separate pages, designed around your books, your music, your art, or your mission, and it stays yours with no monthly platform fee. If you only need to be findable for now, a starter site is $200 to $400 and you can grow it later. Bigger builds with archives, ticketing, or self-updating pages run $1,000 to $2,500.

The agency alternativeAgencies charge $4,000–$10,000 for a comparable build, plus ~$1,200/year in maintenance fees. Then they're gone and you're paying someone new every time a button breaks. My biggest builds top out around $2,500 — archive migrations, newsletters, self-updating pages and all.

Anything that's my mistake, a typo I made or something that breaks, is fixed free, no matter how long it's been. If you expect changes most months, the Edits Plan or Care Plan above costs less than a single session.
